Far Out Films is a series of bi-weekly film screenings that CHR Media hosts in conjunction with Tango Tea Room and the Yin Yang Fandango. The purpose of these screenings is to help expose our community to democratic and independent media, highlight other activist causes and efforts, and bring people together to discuss roads to human freedom. Films run from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Yin Yang Fandango and the Tango Tea Room. Screenings feature discussions afterward. We are open to suggestions when it comes to choosing which films we screen. Come on out and enjoy healthy, delicious food and drink while watching these documentaries.
CHR Media Collective (CHR) is a non-profit media collective based in Corpus Christi, Texas. CHR’s primary goals include creating sustainable media projects and increasing community exposure to democratic and independent media.
